The Central Library of Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences was put into operation at the time of establishment of Shahid Sadoughi Hospital in 2002.  

Classification of university and central libraries books based on the NLM (for medical, paramedical, and related sciences) cataloging method, as well as for the Library of Congress, known as LC (for non-medical books).
