About Us

Andrology is a branch of medical science known as practical knowledge and skills related to male reproductive activities and its disorders. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), andrology deals with "male reproductive health".

The main topics discussed in andrology are:

-Male Infertility

-Investigation of disorders of semen analysis test

-Azoospermia

-MicroTESE, PESA and TESE

-Erectile dysfunction

-Vasectomy and its correction

-Sexual impotence

The Andrology Clinic started operating in 1989, at the same time as the establishment of Yazd Infertility Research and Treatment Center. In 2013, this section was renovated and equipped, and in 2020, it obtained the license of Yazd Andrology Research Center. At present, this clinic includes an andrology laboratory, a men's clinic and a men's operating room, which is ready to serve esteemed clients every day, except holidays, with the cooperation of urologists and andrologists. An evening shift of andrology clinic has also been launched. The cause of infertility can be due to female or male, or both factors, and many diseases can cause infertility in men. At the Andrology Research Center, infertility is primarily diagnosed in men, after which the cause is identified and treated. In this section, to maintain fertility in patients who are candidates for chemotherapy and radiotherapy due to illness, it will be possible to freeze and store sperm for an indefinite period. On the other hand, it is possible to freeze and store sperm from the methods of extracting sperm from the testicles and epididymis.
