Research project of Dr. Mohammad Hossein Zare’

-Evaluation of the average effective dose and determination of cancer risk due to routine CT angiography tests in the age group of children in centers affiliated to Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences in Yazd.


-Evaluation of the dose delivered to the testicles and ovaries and comparison with the dose calculated with treatment design software in prostate, rectal and pelvic radiotherapy in the adult age group in centers affiliated to Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences in Yazd province.


-Determining the effective dose, cancer risk and reference level in adults resulting from routine angiography and angioplasty tests in Yazd province.


-Checking the accuracy of Prowess treatment designing system in calculating skin dose using thermoluminescent dosimeters.


-Evaluation of diagnostic dose reference level (DRL) caused by CT scan in adults in Yazd province.


-Determining the level of diagnostic reference and estimating the effective dose resulting from nuclear medical tests in Yazd province.

-Prevalence of scoliosis in patients referred to the EOS imaging ward of Shahid Sadoughi Hospital in Yazd since 2016.


-Evaluation of coronary artery occlusion using artificial neural network and clinical data.


-Evaluation of ONCOR medical accelerator neutron contamination using Monte Carlo simulations.


-Investigation of the impact of effective parameters on the effective angle of the wedge in the virtual wedge of the ONCOR linear accelerator of Shahid Ramazanzadeh Radiation Therapy Center.

-Measurement of absorbed dose of different organs (eye, thyroid, bursa, gonad and wrist) by cardiologists, nurses and radiotechnologists in angiography and ablation experiments of Afshar Hospital in Yazd by thermoluminescence (TLD) method.


-Optical evaluation of intraocular lens displacement after cataract surgery with biovision lenses by simulation and its practical comparison in patients undergoing surgery.
